Every set of 3 vertices will create a triangle.
Quantity A = the number of ways to select 3 vertices from 8 vertices.
Since the order in which we select the vertices does not matter, we can use combinations.
We can select 3 vertices from 8 vertices in 8C3 ways.
Similarly, every set of 5 vertices will create a triangle.
Quantity B = the number of ways to select 5 vertices from 8 vertices.
We can select 5 vertices from 8 vertices in 8C5 ways.
Important: Rather than calculate 8C3 and 8C5, we can use the following property that says: nCr = nC(n-r).
For example 10C3 = 10C7, and 7C2 = 7C5
So, it must be the case that 8C3 = 8C5
Answer: C
