No Arc29, Despair is the right choice for the second blank since clarissa fell silently in a state of anguish but the Bevy is puzzling me. I think for the first blank the right answer is Quota

doesn't contemplate mean think deeply and at length or look thoughtfully for a long time. I feel its better suited here. Despair is just too gloomy in context. why would she be gloomy if there's so much option(bevy) to choose from.

so would some one tell me why only
