Frank the Fencemaker needs to fence in a rectangular yard. He fences in the entire yard, except for one 40-foot side of the yard. The yard has an area of 280 square feet. How many feet of fence does Frank use?

Solution:
Knowing the simple formula of the Area of rectangle is enough to solve this question.
One side(A)=40
Other side(B)=x
Area of the rectangle=280
280=40*x
x=7
We need to find the perimeter of 3 sides of the rectangle.
Thus 7+7+40=54
IMO C
