(7*3% + 14.5%*2)/5=10%

The weight of liquid A (after the two solutions are mixed) is:

0.07 x 3 + 0.145 x 2 = 0.21 + 0.29 = 0.5 grams

Since the total weight of the mixed solution is 2 + 3 = 5 grams, liquid A is 0.5/5 = 0.1 = 10% of the mixed solution.

0.07 + 3 + 0.145 * 2 = 0.5 grams

0.5 grams / (2+3 grams) = 0.1 = 10%
