Here,
Total number of english books = 4x
Total number of all books in the bookshelf including english books = 5x (since the ratio of \(\frac{english book}{all books}\) = \(\frac{4}{1}\)therefore total books = 4 + 1 or 4x + x = 5x)
therefore percent of english book = \(\frac{4x}{5x} * 100\) = 80%
