Slope of a line connecting two points (\(x_1, y_1\)) and (\(x_2,y_2\)) in the xy-plane is given by \(\frac{(y_2-y_1) }{ (x_2-x_1)}\).

Applying the formula on the points through which line k is passing, slope of line k = \(\frac{8}{4}\) = 2

Similarly, slope of line m = \(\frac{8}{4}\) = 2

Both quantities are equal.
Correct answer is option C
