GRE Quant Hard questions

I am planning to apply for a Ph.D. in Economics and most of the universities does not require a target score but they state that successful applicants usually score very high in Quantitative section.
Thus, I am very focused on Quantitative rather then Verbal aiming to get as much as possible in Quant and a decent 160 in Verbal. I've just done a practice test after almost 1 month preparation and I have 1 month more to sharpen it. My score was Q 162 V 158. Checking my answers, the mistakes were all in those Harder and Devilish as defined by Manhattan Prep. Taking into consideration that I did not revised my answers even though I had time to do it, I think a couple of them could have been right with a little more of attention. Other, instead, were completely insane.
Now I am wondering how to make this last month of prep fruitful. I mean my idea was to focus mostly on hard questions in order to get some insights on how they should be solved and the strategies related. Clearly without forgetting about easy and medium ones which are equally necessary to get the maximum score.
What would you suggest from your experience?

Your strategy is perfectly sound. However, I would suggest you of not neglecting that much the verbal side. It is true that you wanna a Ph.D. in economics but at the end of the day you communicate via words and sentences. So the verbal score is also important.
On top of that, every school prefers a balanced score: both quant and verbal. I.E. stellar in quant and poor in verbal.
