I have used a list of words or cards. I found it easier and faster to write them all on a sheet on one side and definitions on the other. My goal was about 20 per day. I folded it over and spent about 45 mins working both ways and randomly and whichever way. Today there are actually apps that help you do this on your phone that optimized for memorization and have algorithms. One of the apps was developed by a GMAT Club member: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/flashcard ... d478986342

It is fun using the app and studying with it ;-)

To be honest memorizing such vocabs can be frustrating and sometimes can drive you crazy.
the best way to do it is by organizing this process in order to completely get the most vocabs you can do.
1- use quizlet and stick with it daily. there is a tap there you can use to review the words and also take exams.
2- another way which will assure that you have understand is by writing the vocab and its meaning, and try to write a sentence as an example.
3- try to read and spot these vocabs in a complete passage.

Personally, I found the best way to learn vocabulary was through a gamified vocab app. I've been using https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... =web_share and it's been incredibly effective. The interactive games make learning engaging and the daily challenges keep me motivated.

It's a fun and efficient way to expand my vocabulary!
