First, we find the roots of \(x\).
\(x^2+5x-6=0\)
Using factorization, we have
\(x^2-x+6x-6=0\)
\((x-1)(x+6)=0 \)
Hence, \(x=1\) or \(x=-6\)
Since both values are smaller than 2, the answer is B.
\(x^2+5x-6=0\)
Using factorization, we have
\(x^2-x+6x-6=0\)
\((x-1)(x+6)=0 \)
Hence, \(x=1\) or \(x=-6\)
