OA Explanation

\(h = -3(t - 6)^2 + 108\)
x-coordinates of the vertex of parabola is \(6\)
y-coordinate of the vertex of parabola (Max. point) is \(108\)

Col. A: Value of \(y\) when \(x = 3.5\)
Col. B: Value of \(y\) when \(x = (6 + 2) = 8\)

Col. A: \(89.25\)
Col. B: \(96\)

Hence, option B

x value is substitute at t,right?
for QB,
h=-3(2-6)^2+108= -3*(-4)^2+108=-3*16+108=60....
how your QB h=96?

It says height \(2\) seconds after it reaches maximum height!
Since it reaches maximum height at \(6\) seconds, so \(2\) seconds later would be \((6 + 2) = 8\) seconds
