That's a very crucial point.
I took the GMAT already and my biggest enemy was the 4-hour length.
Simple questions seem like hell when you approach the end of the examination.
I'd also suggest (given that the Quant score is the most important one for you) to 'save' energy during the test on the Analytical Writing and Verbal parts.

you are quite right, it's very important, personally I can be totally exhausted after 2 hour preparation. Also, I will advice to use RED BULL during the break (but keep in mind to use it before the exam to see whether your body accepts it or not).
