Given: \(12 = \frac{11}{x} - \frac{3}{x}\)
To eliminate the fractions, we can multiply both sides of the equation by \(x\) to get: \(12x = \frac{11x}{x} - \frac{3x}{x}\)
Simplify to get: \(12x = 11 - 3\)
Simplify: \(12x = 8\)
Divide both sides by \(12\) to get: \(x = \frac{8}{12} = \frac{2}{3}\)
Answer: C
