If 45 people built\(\frac{1}{2}\) of a pyramid in 288 days, how many days did it take 65 people to build the next \(\frac{1}{6}\) the pyramid, rounded to the nearest integer, assuming each person works at the same constant rate?
We Know,
Work = Individual Rate × Number of Workers × Time
Now plugging the values we have,
\(\frac{1}{2}\) pyramid = Individual Rate * 45 * 288
or Individual Rate = \(\frac{1}{25920}\) pyramid per day
Now we need to find the no. of days for 65 people to build the \(\frac{1}{6}\)of pyramid
We know,
Work = Individual Rate × Number of Workers × Time
\(\frac{1}{6} = \frac{1}{25920} *65 * T\)
Time = 66.46 days i.e. 66 days rounded to nearest integer
