Given: \(7(\frac{x}{2} + \frac{x}{5}) = 3\)
Expand the left side to get: \(\frac{7x}{2} + \frac{7x}{5} = 3\)
The least common multiple of 2 and 5 is 10.
So we can eliminate the two fractions by multiplying both sides of the equation by 10 to get: \(35x + 14x = 30\)
Simplify: \(49x = 30\)
Solve: \(x = \frac{30}{49}\)
Answer: B

Given that \(7(\frac{x}{2} + \frac{x}{5}) = 3\) and we need to find the value of x
Multiplying both the sides by 10 we get
\(7(\frac{10*x}{2} + \frac{10*x}{5}) = 10*3\)
=> 7(5x + 2x) = 30
=> 7*7x = 30
=> 49x = 30
=> x = \(\frac{30}{49}\)
So, Answer will be B
