The answer is D.
Lets take a =10 , Quantity A =11 , Quantity B = -0.9 , A>B
Lets take a=1/10 , Quantity A = 1.1 ,Quantity B = 9, B>A
Lets take a =10 , Quantity A =11 , Quantity B = -0.9 , A>B
Lets take a=1/10 , Quantity A = 1.1 ,Quantity B = 9, B>A

Notice that if we replace \(a\) with a BIG POSITIVE value (e.g., a = 1000), Quantity A gets really BIG, and Quantity B gets small
Conversely, if we replace \(a\) with a SMALL POSITIVE value (e.g., a = 0.000001), Quantity B gets SMALL, and Quantity B gets really BIG
