Given:
ab = 3
bc = 4
ac = 3
Multiply the 3 equation to get: (ab)(bc)(ac) = (3)(4)(3)
Simplify: a²b²c² = 36
Rewrite as: (abc)² = 36
So, EITHER abc = 6 OR abc = -6. Which is it?
Since we're told a > 0, we know that b > 0 (since ab = 3), and we know that c > 0 (since ac = 3)
If a, b and c are all positive, then it must be the case. abc = 6
Answer: 6
