Theory: Average = Sum of Values / Total no. of Values
Given that the average of 10, 20, m, and n is 50 and we need to find the average of m and n
Average of 10, 20, m and n = 50 => \(\frac{10 + 20 + m + n }{ 4}\) = 50 [ Divided by 4 because there are 4 values 10, 20, m and n] => 30 + m + n = 50*4 = 200 => m + n = 200 - 30 = 170
Average of m and n = \(\frac{m + n}{2}\) = \(\frac{170}{2}\) = 85
So, Answer will be D Hope it helps!
