Solution:
If the mean score for the juniors were known, which of the following could be calculated from the information given?
Ⅰ.The range of the scores for the seniors- We cannot find range for seniors and the total can be found in several ways i.e it could be 74-84 or 80-90- OUT Ⅱ.The median score for the juniors- We also cannot find the median. If all the value are different then the median will be different and if it consists of one number eg. 6 students have a score of 76 then the median will be 76- OUT Ⅲ.The mean score for the seniors- True, we can find the mean of the senior as we know the total score and total number of students and we can subtract the total of total students by the total score of juniors.- Correct

What i meant was the total score of the 20 students ? By multiplying the score by the number of students that got that score for e.g. 70 * 1 + 74 * 3 + 76 * 6 +...+

We are given nos of both (senior & junior) and the mean score of juniors, so the mean score of seniors can be found only.
Yes, you can calculate using this but no need as this question needs a logical approach. Without lifting a pen you can know it is choice III only.
Please ask if doubt remains.
