Total number of people are 14+ 10 =24.
Total number of women in this group is 14
So if you randomly pic one person from group of 24, the changes that it will be women =14/24
As this is not readily available in answer choices, further simplify the fraction. Both the numbers are even, so 2 is a common factor. So the same fraction can aslo be written as 7/12.
Hence C
When a coin is tossed, the changes of head or tail is 1/2 . The same principle goes here as well.
Total number of women in this group is 14
