We can solve this by substituting x = -1 in the given expression and simplifying it:
(x^6 + x^4 + x^2) - (x^5 + x^3 + x)
= [(-1)^6 + (-1)^4 + (-1)^2] - [(-1)^5 + (-1)^3 + (-1)]
= [1 + 1 + 1] - [-1 - 1 - 1]
= 3 - (-3)
= 3 + 3
= 6
Therefore, if x = -1, then (x^6+x^4+x2)–(x^5+x^3+x) = 6.
Answer: E
(x^6 + x^4 + x^2) - (x^5 + x^3 + x)
= [(-1)^6 + (-1)^4 + (-1)^2] - [(-1)^5 + (-1)^3 + (-1)]
= [1 + 1 + 1] - [-1 - 1 - 1]
= 3 - (-3)
= 3 + 3
= 6
Therefore, if x = -1, then (x^6+x^4+x2)–(x^5+x^3+x) = 6.
