\(x^4 = y^{16}\)
if we take the sixteenth root of the equation, we will get
\(x^{\frac{4}{16}} = y\)
\(y = x^{\frac{1}{4}}\) = \(\sqrt[4]{x}\)
Answer \(A\)

Raise both sides of the equation to the power of \(\frac{1}{16}\) to get: \((x^4)^{\frac{1}{16}} = (y^{16})^{\frac{1}{16}}\)
Apply the Power of a Power law to get: \(x^{\frac{1}{4}} = y\)
Rewrite as follows: \(\sqrt[4]{x} = y\)
Answer: A
