Since the average of the first 25 numbers is 16, the sum of those numbers is 25*16 = 400
Since the average of the next 10 numbers is 15, the sum of those numbers is 10*15 = 150
This leaves 50-(25+10) = 15 numbers, which averages 20. The sum of those numbers is 15*20 = 300
The sum of all 50 numbers is 400+150+300 = 850
The average of the entire group is 850 / 50 = 17
Since the average of the next 10 numbers is 15, the sum of those numbers is 10*15 = 150
This leaves 50-(25+10) = 15 numbers, which averages 20. The sum of those numbers is 15*20 = 300
The sum of all 50 numbers is 400+150+300 = 850
The average of the entire group is 850 / 50 = 17
