We can solve this by using equivalent ratios

Let x = the number of slot screws in the bucket.

We can write: 11/4 = x/320
Cross multiply to get: (4)(x) = (11)(320)
Divide both sides by 4 to get: x = (11)(320)/4 = (11)(80) = 880

So, the bucket contains 880 slot screws and 320 Phillips screws for a TOTAL of 1200 screws

Answer: 1200
