Sometimes it isn't that easy to notice when, but the entire problem could also be solved using the equation:
A + B - both + neither = total.

The first thing I tend to look for in overlapping sets problems is if this is applicable right away.

In this scenario, you're given A an B and you're given 'both' (15) and you're asked to find 'neither'.

Set up the equation, let A = AT&T and B = IBM.

30 + 48 - 15 + x = 200

X = 137, and it took like 20 seconds to do and not much thinking, this approach may not work for all of these problems so definitely be cautious when using it.
