in the second quadrant the x coordinate will be negative and the y coordinate will be positive
there for u + v gives us 2 possible values
Case 1
u + v = +ve
Case 2
u + v = -ve
in the 3rd quadrant both the x and the y coordinates are negative in nature
therefore x + y will always equate to a negative value
so the quantity A is either greater than B or lesser than quantity B.
and there is are no additional conditions given to weather A > B or A < B, The relationship cannot be determined from the information given.
Option D is the right answer
