Since ABCE is a square, all 4 sides are equal length.
So, if side AB = 4, we also know that side CE = 4
Since all three angles in triangle ECD are 60°, we know that triangle ECD is an equilateral triangle, which means all 3 sides have equal length.
So, if side CE = 4, then the other two sides must also have length 4.
Polygon ABCDE has 5 sides, and each side has length 4.
So, the perimeter of polygon ABCDE = (5)(4) = 20
We get:
Quantity A: 24
Quantity B: 20
Answer: A
