area of a trapezoid = \(\frac{sum of parallel sides * height}{2}\)
One of the parallel sides AD is divided into sides of 3 each so this side =6
and we can get the height as it is one side of the Pythagoras triplet 3-4-5 so height = 4
area = \(\frac{(6+7)*4}{2}\)
area = 26
