We are given that Point \((3 , -10)\) is on line \(A\).
So it will satisfy the equation of line \(A\).
Put \(x = 3\) & \(y = -10\) in the options and whichever suffices will be the answer.
\(y=5x - 25\)
Answer E

The explanation above is not sufficient enough in order to determine which Option is right.
If we substitute for x=3 in B we also get -10 as in E.
But the question gives us an hint. Namely that the Line A is perpendicular to the given equation.
This means that both lines are orthogonal (Charing a 90-degree angle).
But how can you prove this quickly?
If m1* m2=-1 then they are perpendicular.
So if the slope of Line A and the slope of our given equation have an product of -1 then it is fullfilled.
In the case of B it means: 1/5 * -1/5 = - 1/25
For E: 5* -1/5 = -1
So only the Equation of E is perpendicular to y=-1/5x and therefore E is the right answer
