Arranging the equation in y=mx+c form gives us 3y=2x+6. Thus slop of the line m is 2.
We know that parallel lines have same slop, and thus, option A is 2.
When lines are perpendicular, the slope is calculated by taking negative reciprocal of the slope, ie -1/2 = -0.5.
Thus option A is correct.

Just an input - slope of the line would 2/3 following y=mx +c (for comparison, y should not have a co-efficient). Thus, the perpendicular would have the slope -3/2.
