The median of the numbers in list B is how much greater than the median of the numbers in list A?
A. 2
B. 4
C. 7
D. 7.6
E. 8
Is the lack of a comma after 68 meaningful? Because if 68 and 30 are both part of List B, the median would be (30+53)/2 or 41.5, which is 7.5 units from the median of list A, which is 49. However, 7.5 is not an answer choice, nor does the question state "approximate." The only way I could see an answer fitting is if 30 is not in List B, would would make 53 the median, and the correct answer would be B. However, that just seems strange. Why is the 30 there?
