The answer is A.
List A = 2, 3, 4, ..., 14
--> Average = (2 + 14)/2 = 8 and median = (13 + 1)/2 = 7th term = 8
--> Average + median = 8 + 8 = 16
List B = 1, 2, 3, ..., 14
--> Average = (1 + 14)/2 = 7.5 and median = (14/2 + next term)/2= (7th term + 8th term)/2 = (7+8)/2 = 7.5
--> Average + median = 7.5 + 7.5 = 15

--> Average = (2 + 14)/2 = 8 and median = (13 + 1)/2 = 7th term = 8
--> Average + median = 8 + 8 = 16
