Let's substitute values, so we have just one variable.
First recognize that we can replace \(6km\) with \((2k)(3m)\) to get:
QUANTITY A: \(n^2\)
QUANTITY B: \((2k)(3m)\)
Now replace \(2k\) with \(n\), and replace \(3m\) with \(n\) to get:
QUANTITY A: \(n^2\)
QUANTITY B: \((n)(n)\)
