Event A is independent and event B and C are mutually exclusive (cannot occur at the same time).
Thus, probability that A and C will occur is 0.5*0.2 = 0.1 or 10%.
Thus, probability that A and C will occur is 0.5*0.2 = 0.1 or 10%.
