Step 1: understanding the question
Total animals are 60 and probability or chance of selecting a cat is 0.35 or 35%. That means 35% of the animals are cats, hence cats are 0.35*60 = 21
Also, probability or chance of selecting a female cat is 0.2 or 20%. That means 20% of the animals are female cats, hence female cats are 0.2*60 = 12
