Opinions on Tutor

Hi all! I need some honest advice from this community. I want to get a decent score and plan to take the GRE last this fall. I did poorly with math in high school but found that I did better with some math concepts (e.g. geometry, calculus) with a tutor in undergrad. At this point I'm scoring 0 quant questions correctly on my initial practice exam.
Has anyone on this forum used a university tutor just to remind themselves of math basics? For example, going through the Khan Academy lessons or some other resource?

My suggestion would be to go through the material in Khan Academy first and clear up your basics.
Once you do that then start searching for a tutor if required. No point getting a tutor now, as no one will be able to spend that much time at a reasonable rate for you.
