Who we are:
Grad Mentors is a 501(c)(3) that is dedicated to providing applicants to our programs cost-free resources and support in their pursuit of higher education, specifically around studying for the GMAT and GRE entrance exams. While we do our best to help all applicants, our primary mission is to serve those students who are unable to access traditional paid support and resources due to financial or situational limitations.
About our program:
Our mentorship program is the core of what we do. Our volunteer mentors work with mentees accepted to our program on a one-to-one basis, helping them to achieve their GMAT/GRE goals. Mentees will receive support from mentors from the start of their study journey to the conclusion, working with them throughout the entire exam process. Mentees also get access to our many free guides and resources to help them along the way.
Most importantly, our program is entirely cost-free to mentees. At no step in the process will mentees be required to pay for our support.
How can I apply?

FAQ:
Here are a couple of common questions we get from prospective mentees:
How does it work if I am accepted as a mentee in the program? What does a typical mentee/mentor relationship look like?
We set our mentors/mentees up for an initial touch-base via email. We then will leave the mentor/mentee match to work together to determine how frequently they would like to meet, and what sort of support they are looking for. Typically, this takes form in a Skype or phone call once every week or two weeks between the mentor and mentee, going over test-taking advice, specific questions, or anything else. From there, we will check in with our mentor/mentee pair occasionally to ensure everything is going smoothly, until the mentee no longer needs our support.
One thing to note is that our mentors are NOT expected to be tutors! Grad Mentors sets the expectation that as a mentor, you are not a tutor, but rather a mentor who offers holistic advice on how to succeed on the test. This may involve answering specific GMAT/GRE questions every now and then, but by and large our mentees are more interested in the pathway to how you achieved success on your exam.
How frequently would I meet with my mentor?
Our volunteer mentors typically meet with their mentees once every one or two weeks. Mentors are also generally available to help mentees on an ad-hoc basis via email, Whatsapp, or however the mentee/mentor feel comfortable communicating with each other.
