Given: p = 3 or p = -3
Let's test each case.
CASE A: p = 3
We get:
Quantity A: (3 + 2)² = 5² = 25
Quantity B: 26
In this case, QUANTITY B IS GREATER
CASE B: p = -3
We get:
Quantity A: (-3 + 2)² = (-1)² = 1
Quantity B: 26
In this case, QUANTITY B IS GREATER
So, it MUST be the case that QUANTITY B IS GREATER
Answer: B
