This is NOT a GRE question. Moreover is badly written
We do know that x is different from zero. Therefore, it could be any number, 1 included
BUT if x=1
quantity B is undefined because in the denominator 1-1 is ZERO
\(\frac{1}{0}\) is impossible or undefined.
I have a heartful suggestion to you sir: you have here on the forum over 12k quant questions and 90% of them are GOOD GRE questions.
I do not believe you need to find such bad questions where else.
Humble opinion
Thanks
Carcass. My bad.
I have updatd Quantity B as it should be (\( \frac{1}{a }- 1\) ) and not (\( \frac{1}{a - 1 }\) )
Could you help again? Thanks
