Shorter GRE Powerprep Practice Test 1 Quant Score

Hi everyone,
I took the GRE Powerprep practice test 1 (shorter version) last week and scored 161 in quant and 152 in verbal. Although I fully agree with my verbal score, I don't understand why I scored 161 in quant since I missed 5 questions in total on both quant sections (2 questions in the first section and 3 questions in the second section). Wouldn't my quant score be higher than 161? Any thought to help me understand is greatly appreciated.

Now, you nailed 10 correct in the first chunk so you should have a hard section as the second quant with 15 questions. You missed 3 so you did well. Correct 22 if math is not an opinion in both
41/27*22=33.4 +130=163 roughly but you got 161
I guess some sort of penalty took place where you should have a bonus. at least 1 or 2 points according to your info. Kinda weird.
However, keep in mind that the PP free is the less accurate. PPplus 2 shorter version is the closest to the real exam.
My only thought is that you missed some sort of easy one-question. I believe they updated algorithm in a more stringent standard but in the real exam, based on the feedback, the real test is going to give you some point more. People missed more than one question and they got a high score

Oooh Ok I see. Actually I spent a lot of time on the questions I missed in the second section. This could explain why I was penalized. Thanks a lot for your explanations.
