I believe this question would provide the info that 1 US ton is 2000 pounds.
Also, it's given that the tank is "15 tall", but doesn't specify whether that's in inches or feet. Either way, Quantity A is still larger, but in this solution I will assume 15 feet tall.
Quantity A
15 tons * 2000 lbs/ton * 1 cubic foot/7.48 gallon * 1 gallon/8.34lbs = 480.9 cubic feet
Quantity B
Diameter is 8, so radius is 4. The equation for volume of a cylinder is height * πr^2
1/2 * π(4 inches)^2 * 15 feet = 1/2 * 50.24 square inches * 1 foot/12 square inches * 15 feet = 31.4 cubic feet
