Choosing numbers is a good approach here.
Let's suppose that the side of the equilateral triangles are 6, meaning that they could be equally divided into 3 lines of 2 (like in the picture), we know this because it is a regular hexagon.
We have 6 of this equilateral triangles with side 2, we can calculate the area of those using the property (half * half * root 3, which is a pretty cool property)
Hence the are of those 6 triangles is 6*root 3
The area of the regular hexagon can be divided into 6 equilateral triangles with side length 2, using the same property, it gives us 6*root 3, which is the same.
Correct answer is C
