OE
Any play that is eight hours long and takes two nights to be executed is bound to be tedious. It cannot be pedantic, as this is a word reserved for people who are ostentatious about their leaning. And though the play might well be odious (B) odious simply means hateful and does not reflect the excessive length of the play. Onerous (C), meaning difficult, can also be eliminated as onerous means difficult but does not speak to the length of the play, and moribund (D), meaning being on the point of death could describe play-goers but cannot describe a play that can close but cannot literally die. Prolix ( F ) means excessively long and tedious and this word effectively describes the world most tedious play. Option F is the correct answer.
