As the recent one is authoritative and new, the previous one should be out of date and unreliable. obsolete means out of date. As the new one has arrived, the previous one will get older or out of date. A is not correct as there is no evidence that the new one is simple and the previous one is incomprehensible. B is incorrect as there is no evidence that the new one is interesting and the older one is boring. C is not correct as there is no evidence that the new one is accessible and the older one is inaccessible. E is not correct as there is no evidence that the new one is readable and the older one is illegible or unreadable.
