Explanation:
Number = (Quotient)(Divisor) + Remainder
X = YZ + W
X = YZ + X - 7
YZ = 7
i.e. YZ = (1)(7) or (7)(1)
We cannot take Y = 1, as any number divided by leaves no remainder (0) and W > 0.
So, Y = 7
Remember: The possible values of the remainder is always 1 less than the divisor itself
Which means we can 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 as the remainder
Now, since we have taken Z = 1, the remainder (Z) cannot be 1
Therefore,
Col. A: 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 = 20
Col. B: 20
