We know that the probabilities of selecting a number out of 4 different numbers are $P1,P2,P3$&$P4$ for four numbers; we need to check that which of the given values could be the individual values of the four probabilities.
Since there are 4 numbers in the set and $P1,P2,P3&P4$ are the probabilities of those four numbers, the sum of their probabilities must be equal to 1 (The chances of selection of any one the four numbers i.e. $P1,P2,P3&P4$ in the set of 4 numbers only is $100%=1$ ).
The only option giving the sum of the probabilities 1 is option (C).
Hence the answer is (C).
