Hi,
I want to know if somebody had tried
http://www.wiseswan.com free mock tests? They claim that they have used an adaptive algorithm very similar to actual GRE.
Please provide your feedback, is it really true?
Also there are 30 minutes and 1 hour mock tests available on the site. In my opinion they are good for initial GRE preparation. Let me know how do you feel about the short tests as well.
Thanks,
Kritika
Hi Kritika,
There are many GRE coaching websites online that claim that their tests are adaptive, GRE standard questions etc. It is very difficulty to verify the veracity of such claims in general. However if you are taking tests from one of the major GRE training organization you can be sure of the quality of material that you are using.
I am not disparaging the above mentioned website as inadequate, it may very well be true that their materials are of appropriate quality, however any serious candidate would prefer
Kaplan, Manhattan, ETS etc over them. You can certainly use their materials for practice but for serious Full length Mock tests use the big tests.
Here is a
link to the big 5 tests that are available (free). If you still need more practice tests there are more than half a dozen other tests (also linked in the above link).
Best of Luck,
PS: There is no test better than the one provided by ETS, namely ETS Powerprep II.
