Here ;
Statement 1: \(d(d^2 - 2d + 1)\) =\(d^3 - 2d^2 + d\)
Statement 2 : \(d(d^2 - 2d) + 1\) = \(d^3 - 2d^2 + 1\)
So\(d^3 - 2d^2\) is common in both the statement and can be neglected.
so we are left with "d" in statement 1 and "1" in statement 2
But we donot have any information about d, so d can be > 1 or d can be < 1
Hence option D.
