Team A and team B are raising money for a charity event. The ratio of money collected by team A to money collected by team B is 5: 6. The ratio of the number of students on team A to the number of students on team B is 2 : 3. What is the ratio of money collected per student on team A to money collected per student on team B?
(A) 4 : 5
(B) 5 : 4
(C) 5 : 6
(D) 5 : 9
(E) 9 : 5
here Ratio for team A to team B money collection is 5:6
The ratio for team A to team B team members is 2:3
so for the team, A collected money by each student is 5/2 same as for the team B it's 6/3 hence 2/1,
now the ratio of money collected per student on team A to money collected per student on team B is 5/2/2 --- > 5 / 2*2 --- > 5:4
