It is important to keep in mind that this is not a mixture problem, as a matter of fact the substances have nothing to do with it at all.
Lets examine the mass of one 'Dose'= \(\frac{1}{6}\) oz of x + \(\frac{2}{3}\) oz of z = \(\frac{5}{6}\) oz
doses are in a 30-ounce vial = \(\frac{30}{\frac{5}{6}}= \frac{30 \times 6}{ 5}=36\)
Hence option D is correct!
