In the explanation, there is no mention as you pointed out of a rectangle.

However, mention or not the clue here are the right angle 90° and the fact that you do have a right triangle which is based on the triplet 30-60-90.

The clue you have juxtaposed is irrelevant, indeed.

Assuming that figure represents a rectangle.

then x+2y = 90, and since the diagonal bisects the angle, x = 2y
so, x > y

Ans = A

If two angles of a quadrilateral are 90 degrees, the other 2 angles must also be 90. No?

\(x\) is not equal to \(2y\). \(x =y\). hence the answer is C.

X will be 30 since it follows \(1:\sqrt{3}:2\)
